Dominic Stephenson
Dominic began his career as an assistant director, whilst also moonlighting as a VFX artist on the side. He worked at ITV for 10 years where, whilst also directing several short films, he trained to direct.
Most recently, Dominic has directed six episodes of the Emmy-nominated children's sci-fi drama Odd Squad, perfectly blending his knowledge of VFX with his childish humour.
Beyond Television, he wrote, produced and directed the audio-drama series Project Bläckfisk. Released in 2025, the series was shortlisted for Best Podcast Audio Drama at the BBC Audio Drama Awards. The show is available on multiple platforms here.
His other work includes the long-running ITV Dramas Coronation Street and Emmerdale on which he has directed a number of episodes on both series.
With a background in both Assistant Directing and Visual Effects, Dominic brings a rare blend of technical expertise and creative insight to his projects, along with a deep understanding of actors and their process.
